What is an EORI Number?
EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) is a unique identification number issued by EU customs authorities. It is required for all economic operators involved in customs operations, including importers, exporters, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
In Cyprus, EORI numbers are issued by the Cyprus Customs Service and follow the format: CY + 9 digits (e.g., CY123456789). This number must be used on all customs declarations and trade documents.
