When Is Same-Day Clearance Possible?

For sea freight, we recommend submitting the customs declaration on a pre-arrival basis — that is, before the vessel arrives at Limassol. This is permitted under EU customs regulations and means that, when the vessel berths and the cargo is discharged, the clearance process is already underway or complete. In straightforward cases, the release order can be obtained on the same day the vessel arrives.
